FIRST® Lego League Team
Our FIRST Lego League team is a community-based team open to all students in grades 4-8, and we’re currently taking applications for the 2025-2026 season!
Who can join?
Students at any school in grades 4-8 are welcomed to the team! No engineering skills are required, just a motivation to learn!
When do you meet?
The season starts in August and wraps up during November or December. We meet from 3:30 to 5:00 PM every Tuesday during the season.
Where do you meet?
Thanks to the gracious support of AvL Technologies, we will meet in their facility at 15 N Merrimon Ave.
Hybrid Program (Students in grades 7-8)
This year, we are starting a new program for students in grades 7-8 who are transitioning from FLL Challenge to FIRST Tech Challenge. Students in the hybrid program will participate in FLL the way they normally would, from 3:30 to 5:00 on Tuesdays, but after meets wrap up, they will join Limelight for the last two hours of their meets until 7:00. This allows students to continue contributing to the FLL team while also providing a smooth transition to Limelight, so they’re ready to contribute meaningfully once they join in 9th grade. This program is by no means mandatory, and 7th and 8th graders can continue applying to Limelight. However, if they do participate in this program, they will have guaranteed admission to Limelight in 9th grade.

So… how do I join?
Your student can apply to the team through the link below. Only 10 students are allowed to register so acceptance to the team is not guarenteed. Make sure you and your student are ready to fill out the application.
